So you've booked your session (Yay!) But you haven't a clue what to wear??? Let me help!
I have put together a number of vision boards to help you choose. These boards range from chic, urban, cottage core, western, and everything in between! Short dresses, maxi dresses, prints, solids, cute tops, denim and more...

Urban/Chic
Let's start here! Here are some Urban/Chic outfits that work perfectly for those downtown scenes. My favorite places to shop for Senior outfits is Altar'd State, and Dry Goods. Even cute little hometown boutiques have the cutest outfits!
What makes Urban/Chic? Trendy, classic denim, clean lines, neutral colors and fresh florals with a touch of class. Find a pair of denim that fit and flatter you perfectly, and then add a cute, trendy top for a pop of color. Or a clean, classic striped dress or skirt with a pop of floral or fitted tank for that "I woke up like this" feel. And don't forget to add dainty accessories!

Maxi Dresses & Two-Piece SetsĀ
Maxi dresses are so versatile! They are perfect for those stunning flower fields and even strolling through a beautiful garden. With so many to choose from - white, dainty florals, and daring two-pieces - find one or two that fit you amazingly and get ready to run and twirl!

Western Vibes & Mini DressesĀ
Ahh yes, some classic western boots! Love this look for open fields. Get ready to run carefree and let your hair down - this is a classic, timeless look you'll be sure to love for many generations to come. And a classic mini dress? Perfect for those warm sunsets and to show off your tan!

Depending on what session type(s) you choose, you'll want a variety of these looks to really round out your session. As for shoes - keep them comfy! Trade in your flats for some fancy heels if you plan on walking around town. If you plan on hitting the fields or flower patches, you'll want to keep your feet bare or at least a good flat! (Or a beautiful pair of cowgirl boots!)
Keep your jewelry minimal and dainty - we want our focus to be on YOU and your beautiful face!
Avoid bright colors like the plague - these do not photography beautifully and will often cast harsh colors onto your skin. Also, stay away from large logo's or prints - these will also take away from your face!
Props
I love props. I have a collection of vintage settee's and chairs that I like to lug around to a session - usually open fields. They add an element of unexpected surprise and really add to your session! I also love the use of flowers - flowers are essential to any session, in my opinion! Feel free to pick up a bouquet from your local florist or grocery store. Be sure they match the season and your outfits!
If your session includes any extracurricular activities like dance, tennis, softball, band or an instrument, be sure to include those, as well! If you're a book lover, bring your favorite books! If you have any favorite childhood stuffy's, bring those, too! We want your session to be centered around everything that makes you, you.
