Meet...
I cannot describe how much FUN these twins were to work with! They were the absolute sweetest and radiated joy from the second I met them.
Amelia and Samantha are 2023 Senior's from Milford High School in Milford, Michigan.
Amelia is a Cheerleader and Samantha is in the Girl's Golf Club!
The girls were very adamant that I keep them looking as natural as possible when editing. You have no idea how refreshing it is to hear that from teenage girls!
To feel so comfortable in your own skin that you don't want you photographer to make you look like you put a fake filter on them? Unheard of! Of course, that wasn't hard to do because they were already SO naturally beautiful.
Amelia & Samantha's mom was equally as fun and SO wonderful to work with. She did what most moms would do - she carried all of thier outfits and things throughout the entire two-hour shoot and kept telling them, "This is YOUR day, enjoy it and don't worry about me!" From then on, I decided I need to bring a wagon, though...just for these beautiful momma's to not have to carry all this stuff around! She was also a wonderul cheerleader and encouraged them in positive way to pose and smile! I always encourage my Senior's to bring someone who will let them be themselves and allow them to smile and have fun, naturally! The twin's mom understood the assignment, 100%!
Our first location was downtown Fenton, Michigan. An absolute gorgeous, quaint little town that I like to call my "second home." I don't actually live in Fenton, I live in Grand Blanc. But they are close neighbors and I spend at least 5 out of 7 days in this town!
Fenton is full of character - and I love how all of the shops decorate their store fronts with beautiful flowers and decor, and actually encourage photographers to use them!
I absolutely LOVED that these twins brought thier baby picture! I always encourage my Senior's to bring things that have meaning to them. This can include hobbies such as instruments, sports, or even pets! In this case, a beautiful baby portrait.

Our second location was in beautiful Holly, Michigan. Also a close neighbor to Fenton. The girls had these adorable white dresses with cowgirl boots - so I thought it was only fitting that we find a pretty, rustic barn!
A friend of mine had a neighbor that let me use thier property. I'm so thankful! It turned out so incredibly perfect!
We also had to take advantage of the train tracks near the property. (We were extremely careful!) The sun was beginning to set and we were all getting pretty tired, but I think these turned out to be my most favorite images from the entire shoot.
In Conclusion...
It was extemely important to Amelia and Samantha that they take most of thier session portraits together. As a twin myself, I totally get and understand. There is a close bond between twins that no one else can comprehend.
I enjoyed every second with these girls and thier mom! I know they will accomplish great things after high school!
And I know their family is so, SO proud of them.
Congratulations on your Senior year, girls! I hope you and your family will enjoy your images for many, many years and generations to come!
